Amsterdam uses the platform to balance its mobility interventions. After training and with our support, the municipal team runs it independently.

Electrification ties the transport system and the energy system together, and most plans still treat them apart.

Moving public transport to zero emission takes more than new vehicles. It needs a balanced strategy across the energy grid, charging locations, energy carriers, routing, schedules, operating costs and the weather, which matters in a Gulf summer.

Singapore and Curaçao are replacing their buses with zero emission vehicles, and the Singapore fleet alone is 6,000 buses. Several deployment strategies were designed, explored and evaluated in the platform.

Every city, region and country has roadworks and infrastructure that is reaching the end of its life.

The Netherlands has over 142,000 kilometres of roads and thousands of bridges. Amsterdam alone owns 1,800 bridges and 600 kilometres of quay walls, many of them near the end of their life span.

You can extend that life with a temporary support structure, by removing parking or by keeping heavy vehicles out. Each option touches accessibility, trees, houseboats and the pipes under the street. Exploring the options interactively saves a significant share of the maintenance budget.
